Hi there! I’m Mary Karnehl, a passionate singer, songwriter, and performer whose mission is to create music that speaks to the soul music that brings joy, healing, and connection to people across the world. Every note I sing is rooted in truth, tradition, and the powerful rhythm of African storytelling.
🎶 My Journey
I was born in Ndop Bamessing Nsei, Bamenda, Cameroon, and raised in a culture rich in rhythm, spirituality, and resilience. Music has always been my safe space a sacred place to express, inspire, and empower.
I began my musical journey in 2014, deeply influenced by the spiritual and cultural heritage of my homeland. In 2015, I collaborated with two Cameroonian artists on a track titled A No Lie, and by 2018, I launched my solo career with the release of my debut single REALITY.
I blend traditional and spiritual Cameroonian rhythms with Dancehall, Afrofolk, and Amapiano, creating a signature sound that’s both deeply rooted and globally resonant. My music is more than entertainment it's a call to rise, heal, and celebrate identity.
Through music, I advocate for women’s empowerment, healing from domestic violence substance abuse gender-based violence, and African unity. Every performance is a statement. Every lyric is intentional. I use my art to shine a light on untold stories and to uplift voices that deserve to be heard.
